Capacity Building & Knowledge Management (CB-KM)

Capacity Building and Knowledge Management (CB&KM) is one of NISG's four main strategic and operational areas. Our CB&KM department has been an integral player in the Digital India Programme, accelerating the implementation of e-Kranthi (National e-Governance Plan 2.0). aimed at improving public services by placing the end-users (citizens and businesses) at the heart of public service delivery.

For e-Governance to succeed, ICT capabilities must be built at all levels of the government, and with effective Capacity Building a structured learning curriculum framework for all government employees, partners and stakeholders is emphasised.

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India has entrusted NISG with the task to design and conduct training programs for leaders and different government officials at the State and Central levels in the e-Governance space. NISG provides Strategic Capacity Building to incorporate IT innovation into training requirements.

Since its inception, our CB&KM department has been architecting and managing various capacity building initiatives under four key focus areas – Strategic Consulting, Education & Training, Knowledge Management and Content Development. All our CBKM’s training and education programmes are envisaged, designed and delivered by training and e-Governance experts, with various accreditations and Industry certifications – PMI®, PRINCE2®-AXELOS®, among others.

NISG has conducted approximately about 450 e-Governance capacity building programmes, covering more than 16000+ participants under various categories, and addressing almost all Central Line Ministries and all State/UT Governments.
